About D&&

The D&& brand was started in 2025 (July 4th).

David is disappointed he didn’t think of this acronym until age 31.

About David

Hi! I’m David Andrew Anderson.

I grew up in Virginia, lived in the Rockies for 10 years, and am yet again back in Virginia continuing life’s journey.

Out of caution I’m not posting too much about my personal life, but that may change down the road. Things you will not find on this website include my social security number.

About Davíd

This was my nickname in Spanish class, way back when.

About Daviiid

My friends started calling me this whenever my party side would come out. I like to think Daviiid [Note 1] is best experienced through out-of-tune karaoke songs, which David is sometimes embarrassed about.

There’s probably a deeper metaphor here with Freud’s “id”, “ego”, and “superego”. David forgets which is which and should probably refresh himself on Freud’s theory [Note 2]. It’s foundational to psychology, and still relevant to sociology, which David plans to study.

About DAndAnd.co

Glad you’re here! Expect a variety of content. Life’s too short to not ramble on about any topic that interests you.

For the moment I’m more active on Facebook (@TheDAndAnd) but I plan to expand this website, while using socials for short length content. This website gives me more space for rambles, while letting me stay a bit more organized.

And more!

You can follow me on most socials; see the Links page.

For what’s next, check out the Rollout page. More to come soon!

Footnotes

Note 1: Alternate spelling Daveeed is also accepted. Either way, the more vowels, the more emphasis.

Note 2: (2025-08-14) From what I can tell, Jung may have more modern and widely accepted ideas compared to Freud? So, probably read Jung if you had to choose. But I’m no expert.
